Amazonite is a soothing stone. With it's beautiful soft pastel colour it calms the brain and nervous system and aids in maintaining optimum health.  This pale apple green mineral rock is believed to date back as far as the 10th century BC.  It's known as the Hope stone but also more commonly known as the "Amazon stone," because it was thought to have been discovered at the Amazon River Basin in Brazil.
